Here’s all the holiday Friends episodes for you to binge watch this season. Phoebe's performance is the best of the entire episode, as she can't deal with the rudeness of most New Yorkers walking on the street. Rachel goes out with Danny but realizes she just can't deal with the relationship he has with his sister. And the episode's best scene involves the two of them using Joey's script to speak. This one's all about Joey trying to get Ross and Chandler to make amends. ![]() Ross lives with Joey and convinces him he can write a movie, but Chandler gets between the two because he realizes how dull Joey has become. Phoebe gets hired by a department store to spread Christmas joy in the street, and she gets too passionate about it. They're just too hands-on with each other. The thing is, Danny's relationship with his sister is. In one of the best holiday episodes of Friends, Monica sets up Rachel on a date with Danny, a guy who lives with his sister. Phoebe's line, "I understand why Superman is here, but why is there a porcupine at the Easter Bunny's funeral?" is proof of the show's great writing. But her storyline doesn't connect very well with the others. Phoebe decides to live alone after seeing the new version of her apartment. Ben is kind of confused seeing the Holiday Armadillo working alongside Santa to teach him about Hanukkah, but then when Joey arrives in a Superman costume, it's the icing on the cake. It's hilarious the way David Schwimmer's character got funnier in the last seasons of the show. Ross' performance as the Holiday Armadillo is a classic. Eventually, the group gathers at Monica's apartment when Ben learns about Hanukkah, with a few setbacks. Chandler tries to prove to Monica that he can be a strong, confident dude, but he fails at every attempt. The problem is, Rachel seems to be having fun living with Joey. Phoebe gets her apartment back and wants Rachel to move in with her again. Ross gets Ben that year, and he intends to teach him a little bit about Hanukkah. "The One with the Holiday Armadillo" puts the gang together for a Christmas celebration. The highlight of the episode, and the scene that's the most Christmas-y, is when Phoebe composes a Christmas song for the gang, and she does a great job, Phoebe-style. Ross' story is not so well-explored because it doesn't make much sense, and apart from a good physical performance, it's just not very funny and proves his character's inconsistency of being a worthy sentimental partner. The pivotal conflict is Monica's, and it's certainly the funniest, when Joey gets into his character a little bit too much and the plan goes nowhere. In the meantime, Ross tries to date from Poughkeepsie, but he doesn't do well with the distance. Rachel feels lonely and would rather have a fling during the holidays than be alone, so Chandler tries to set her up with one of his co-workers. So Joey gets the brilliant idea to make Monica hire him and fire him instantly, so she can prove who's boss. In season four, episode 10, Monica is the head chef at a restaurant where everybody hates her.
